I started writing Musings from an Overworked Translator a few years
ago when there weren't that many blogs out there. I had gathered a lot
of knowledge from many colleagues and mentors over the years, and I
wanted to share that knowledge with others. My blog was the best venue
to do that.
I decided to write a Translation Scam Alert blog because
many of my readers found me when I posted on various scams. They would
find my blog while googling a name or e-mail address. There are so
many translators out there who fall for scams. I want to help them not
fall for the various scams before they lose a couple thousand dollars.
